Our Mission
Egbe Omo Obokun of
Ijeshaland
was formed to promote the
welfare of Ijesha Sons and
Daughters both abroad and in
the motherland.
We support financially
challenged students back
home by awarding
scholarships, donation of
books, printers and personal
computers.
We have members from all
works of life.
The Ijesa People
are located
in Osun State of Nigeria.
Ijeshaland is rich in
culture and historical
heritage. It is our hope
that this site will serve as
a learning center for
scholars and Nigerians who
would like to learn about
our rich heritage.
We welcome your comments on
how to make this site a tool
of enlightenment about
Ijeshaland.
At
the end of each monthly meeting,
It is our tradition to present a
birthday cake to those members
whose birthdays occur during
that month.
