This is to inform you that at a regularly convened monthly
meeting of our Egbe on January 23, 2010, the following members were given the
mandate to be the 'Chief Stewards' of this Egbe for the years 2010 and 2011:

In welcoming the new Executives, Elder Kolawole Awe, Chairman of the
outgoing Caretaker Committee commended the members for their willingness to
serve and pledge his support and that of Egbe in assisting whereever needed.
He advised the new executive to be open to advise and not to underestimate
the role of any member even those who do not coming to meetings.
In her acceptance speech, the President-Elect Hon. Janet Fashakin thanked
the Caretaker Committee for holding the forth. She also thanked Egbe for the
trust imposed in her and all the members of the new Executive. She
encouraged every member to be good ambassador of Egbe and speak positively
about it, thus encouraging other Ijesas to come on board.
According to her," with all that is happening in Ile Ijesa, we can not
afford to take back seats because our people are counting on us to make a
positive difference."
The meeting ended with photographs and dinner.
Ile Ijesa a gbe wa o, a o si ko ere oko dele! Amin.
Swearing in of the New Executives shall take place at our next meeting on
Saturday February 27, 2010, please mark your calendar and if you are in
NY/NJ area, please join us as we deliberate on how to move Egbe forward and
get info on the latest from Ile Ijesa.
Sumptuous dinner will be served!
